Deuba summons meeting of opposition parties



KATHMANDU: Sher Bahadur Deuba, President of the Nepali Congress, has summoned a meeting of the opposition parties in the government led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

The meeting is scheduled to be held this evening at Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha.

Attendees will include representatives from the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, Loktantrik Samajbadi Party, and Rastriya Janamorcha Party, among others.

This meeting follows the significant political development of the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML forging an alliance to form a new government, aiming to oust PM Dahal from power.
