NC President Deuba calls office bearers’ meeting



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of party office bearers today.

Following the recent agreement with the CPN-UML on government formation, NC President Deuba summoned a meeting of current and former office bearers at his residence in Budhanilkanth this morning.

Last night, Deuba and UML Chairman KP Oli reached a consensus on seven key points of cooperation.

As per the agreement, Oli will assume leadership of the government for the initial 18 months, with Deuba taking charge for the remainder of the term.
