Police seize over Rs 10 million suspected Hundi money in Sunsari

KATHMANDU: Police have seized over Rs 10 million suspected to be Hundi money from Sunsari last night.

The amount was confiscated at the Nepal Border Outpost at the Basantapur Checkpoint in the district.

The money was discovered in a car with registration number Ba 13 Cha 7613 after raising suspicion.

The police have arrested the driver, Isha Ansari, who is in his late thirties and hails from Hari Nagar Rural Municipality-5.

During the preliminary investigation, Ansari failed to disclose the source of the money. Further investigation is currently underway.
