Ambassador Paudyal stresses fostering bilateral trade and investment between Nepal and Canada



KATHMANDU: Nepali Ambassador to Canada Bharat Raj Paudyal presented his credentials to Governor Mary Siman of Canada, expressing hopes for the enduring peace, progress, and prosperity of Canada’s friendly populace.

As per the Nepali Embassy in Ottawa, Ambassador Paudyal conveyed warm wishes for the Governor’s personal well-being on behalf of President Ram Chandra Paudel and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

Ambassador Paudyal underscored the amicable ties between Nepal and Canada while delineating the Nepalese government’s efforts and priorities focused on strengthening democracy and fostering rapid economic advancement.

He elaborated on initiatives aimed at achieving Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 and uplifting Nepal from the ranks of least developed nations.

Expressing gratitude for Canada’s unwavering support during Nepal’s socio-economic development and challenging times, Ambassador Paudyal pledged close collaboration with the Canadian government and the private sector.

He emphasized fostering bilateral trade, tourism, investment, technology transfer, and people-to-people relations, ensuring mutual benefits and a robust economic partnership with unwavering commitment.
