KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw a single-digit decline on Tuesday, marking the third trading day of the week.
The NEPSE index dropped by 1.85 points, settling at 2010.21 points today.
During today’s trading session, a total of 6,131,021 shares of 312 companies were traded, resulting in a turnover of Rs 2,291,645,585.
In today’s trading, the indices of financial groups increased by 0.03 points, investment groups by 0.04 points, life insurance by 0.19 points, microfinance by 0.89 points, mutual funds by 0.30 points, and trading groups by 0.32 points.
However, all other groups experienced a decline in sub-indices.
Gurans Microfinance Limited’s share price reached the positive circuit today, while Ganapati Microfinance Limited’s share price rose by 9.64 percent to nine decimal nine five, and Upakar Microfinance Limited’s share price increased by 8.64 percent.
Jyoti Development Bank Bond-2087 recorded the largest decline in share price, dropping by 7.50 percent.
With regards to trading volume, Gurkhas Finance Limited recorded the highest turnover of Rs 149,884,901 today.
