CPN (Unified Socialist) calls for membership renewal by Mid-April

KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) has issued a directive for its members attending the 10th national general convention to renew their membership by mid-April.

The party has urged all its leaders and committee members at central, provincial, and district levels to elect convention representatives promptly.

Scheduled from April 27 to May 4, the convention aims to select representatives and amend the party’s statute based on suggestions from lower committees.

Dilu Pant, a member of the party’s politburo, confirmed the issuance of a circular for membership renewal, with instructions for lower committees to update the central level accordingly.

The party’s statute mandates the election of central-level leaders from lower committees, aligning party activities with the principles of socialism while upholding the federal democratic republic.
