KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has highlighted a partial influence of westerly and local winds currently affecting Nepal.

According to the Division, the weather will remain clear across the hilly regions, encompassing Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

This afternoon, the weather is expected to be a mix of partly cloudy to mostly clear skies over the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Moreover, there’s a likelihood of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in select areas in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Furthermore, there is also a possibility of light snowfall at isolated locations in the high hills and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

Heading into the night, a partial shift in weather patterns is expected across the hilly terrain, while elsewhere in the country, conditions are likely to remain clear.
