BAGLUNG: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has arrived here to participate in the Sarbasiddhidham Anantashree Brahmandiya Mahayagya, a puran recitation function, which has been taking place at Panchakot of Baglung from February 21.
Chief District Officer of Baglung, Khagendra Rijal, welcomed Prime Minister Dahal at Baglung municipality-6, Panchakot.
PM Dahal is scheduled to meet Muktinath Pithadhishwor Swami Kamalnayanacharya and visit the Gandakimata Temple, Muktinath Mahaghanta, and Yagyamandap.
The mega puran recitation function organised on the occasion of 10th establishment day of Panchakotdham has the objective of promoting religious tourism and fostering spiritual awakening along with water, forest and land.
The Mahayagya will run till March 6.
Religious infrastructures worth around Rs 500 million have been constructed at Panchakot.
