KATHMANDU: Nepal is set to play against the Netherlands today in the Tri-Nation T20 Cricket Series.
The match is scheduled to begin at 11:30 AM at Tribhuvan Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
In the previous match of the Tri-Nation Cricket Series against Namibia, Nepal secured a victory by 3 runs.
It was Nepal’s first win in the series.
In the first game, Nepal lost to Namibia by 20 runs, while in the second match, they suffered a defeat against the Netherlands by 2 runs.
With two wins, the Netherlands currently holds the top spot in the points table with 4 points.
Nepal is in the second position with 2 points, and Namibia is at the third position with equal points based on net run rate.
To strengthen their position for a spot in the final, Nepal needs to defeat the Netherlands today.
The outcome of tomorrow’s game between Namibia and the Netherlands will also play a crucial role in determining the finalists.
The final match is scheduled for Tuesday.
