NC Parliamentary Party meeting commences



KATHMANDU: The parliamentary party meeting of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has commenced in the Lhotse Hall of the Federal Parliament Building in Kathmandu.

Key officials from the NC are present at the meeting.

NC Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak stated that discussions would focus on how to effectively present the party’s stance in the upcoming winter session starting from Monday.

Deliberations will include the role of parliamentarians in introducing various bills and strategies to enhance their effectiveness, along with the party’s recommendations for leading the Budget Session.

Lekhak also shared that President Ramchandra Poudel has summoned the parliamentary session on February 5 at 4 pm, following the Winter Session recommendations from the government.

The parliamentary meeting is expected to cover a range of topics, including the presentation of numerous bills and the role of MPs in advancing legislative agendas.

As the largest party in the parliament, the NC will strategize on ways to enhance its effectiveness in parliamentary proceedings.
