UML Chair Oli calls on PM Dahal

KATHMANDU: In a significant development, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and KP Sharma Oli, the Chairman of the CPN-UML, engaged in a crucial meeting at Singha Durbar this morning.

The discussions primarily focused on the intricate preparations for the upcoming winter session of the parliament.

Sources suggest that the meeting gains added importance as political parties strive to reach a consensus on passing the Transitional Justice (TRC) bill.

Notably, the meeting also took place against the backdrop of discontent within the CPN (Maoist Center) directed at the Nepali Congress, concerning the outcome of the recently held National Assembly elections in Koshi Province.

The dynamics of this internal dissatisfaction are anticipated to have been a topic of consideration during the discussions between Prime Minister Dahal and UML Chair Oli.
