Three more Nepalis in Russian Army die in Russian-Ukraine conflict, toll climbs to 10

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has confirmed the deaths of three more Nepali nationals in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

According to MoFA sources, the deaths of three additional Nepali individuals have been confirmed. The deceased are identified as Hariprasad Aryal from Syangja, Bharbahadur Shah from Kailali, and Rajkumar Giri from Dhading.

With this, the number of Nepalis losing life in Russia-Ukraine conflict has reached 10.

Hariprasad Aryal hails from Ward No. 14 of Waling Municipality, Syangja.

According to sources, Aryal had only traveled to Russia on October 20 after spending four days in transit in Dubai.

While news of Aryal’s death had surfaced earlier through unofficial channels, the government has now confirmed it.
