Gold price surges to Rs 121,000 per tola, up by Rs 500 today



KATHMANDU: Gold prices experienced a notable increase of Rs 500 per tola on Tuesday, reaching an unprecedented Rs 121,000 per tola in the Nepali market.

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reported that fine gold is currently being traded at Rs 121,000 per tola, while the standard gold price stands at Rs 120,400 per tola. It’s worth noting that one tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams.

Simultaneously, the price of silver has also witnessed a surge of Rs 500, reaching Rs 1,410 per tola today.
