Vote counting begins in Ramgopalpur, Mahottari



MAHOTTARI: Vote counting has commenced in Ramgopalpur, Mahottari, as part of the local-level by-elections. According to Chief District Officer Lalbabu Kawari, the counting started at 6:45 p.m. in Ward No. 2 of Ramgopalpur.

In the election for the ward chairperson position in Ramgopalpur-2, a total of 1,514 votes were cast out of 2,140 registered voters, indicating a voter turnout of 70%, as reported by the election office.

A total of 20 candidates contested for the single ward chairperson position in Ramgopalpur-2.
