37 gamblers arrested; over 4.5 lakh cash seized



KAILALI: Police arrested 37 individuals for playing cards in Kailali and Dadeldhura, seizing more than Rs 4.5 lakh rupees in cash.

In Kailali, nine people were apprehended at a chicken farm in Ghodaghodi Municipality-6.

The police recovered Rs 26,420 and one pack of cards from the suspects.

In a separate incident in Dadeldhura, 28 gamblers were arrested.

Authorities seized Rs 4,41,869 and 16 packs of cards from this group.
