ANFA Women’s League: Koshi Province starts strong with 4-0 victory



KATHMANDU: Koshi Province kicked off the ANFA Women’s League with an impressive win.

In the inaugural match held at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato, Koshi defeated Waling Municipality with a decisive 4-0 scoreline.

Sanju Maya Tamang opened the scoring for Koshi in the 10th minute, followed by Samikshya Magar, who netted the second and third goals in the 50th and 51st minutes, respectively.

Pratikshya Rai sealed the victory with a fourth goal in the 68th minute.

A total of 10 teams are participating in the league: Tribhuvan Army Club, APF Football Club, Nepal Police Club, Sankata Club, Bagmati Youth Club, Waling Municipality, Chandrapur Municipality, Koshi Province, Sudurpaschim Province, and Karnali Province.

The league will feature a total of 69 matches, including the finals.
