Motorcyclist dies in accident



KAILALI: A motorcyclist died in a road accident when the motorcycle hit a stationary truck at Pathak Petrol Pump in Godavari Municipality-1 Dhangadhi Road in the district.

According to District Police Office Kailali, the deceased is 29-year-old Kailash Thapa of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-2 Bhansar Road.

According to police, at around 1:10 last night, the motorcycle (SE 5Pa 5827) collided with the truck (Na 4Kha 963) coming from Dhangadhi towards Attaria, at the place.

It is reported that the injured Thapa died in Seti Provincial Hospital Dhangadhi during treatment.

Similarly, pillion rider Bhupesh Pal of Dhangadhi-2 Bhansar Road is undergoing treatment in the same hospital.

The truck driver is taken into custody for further investigation.
