NC’s Central Committee set to endorse Mahasamiti proposals



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) is holding a meeting of its central committee members today to endorse the proposals put forth by the party General Secretaries and Vice Preaident at the party’s Mahasamiti meeting held in February.

It may be noted that a meeting of office bearers and former officers of the party on Saturday unanimously agreed to pass the proposal presented by the NC General Secretaries at the party’s Mahasamiti meeting at Godavari.

Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel stated that the meeting held on Saturday at the residence of party President Sher Bahadur Deuba in Budhanilkantha resulted in a consensus to present all proposals to the Central Committee on Sunday for unanimous approval.

Poudel also stated that the Central Committee meeting will take place at 2 pm on Sunday at the party’s central office, Sanepa.

It is anticipated that the Central Committee will pass all proposals unanimously.

Additionally, office bearers and former officers are scheduled to meet again on Sunday afternoon at 1 o’clock to finalize the draft to be presented to the Central Committee.
