KATHMANDU: The chariot carrying the deity Rato Machhindranath was pulled from Tahiti in Lagankhel to Jawalakhel on Thursday as part of the Rato Machhindranath Jatra.

During the procession, the chariot passed through various toles (local neighborhoods) of Patan before reaching Jawalakhel, where the famous Bhoto Jatra exhibition takes place.
