KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has predicted partly to generally cloudy weather across the country today.

According to the morning weather bulletin, heavy rain is likely in one or two places in the Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, with a few places in Madhes also experiencing heavy rainfall.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is forecasted for some areas in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Tonight, the weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy nationwide.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is anticipated at a few locations in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and in one or two places in Madhes and Lumbini provinces.

The Division has also warned of the possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two places in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces tonight.

In its bulletin issued last night, the Division noted that rain is expected in various parts of the country over the next two days, particularly during the night.

However, the weather is expected to improve compared to the past three days.

Rain is forecasted to continue through Friday night, with conditions expected to stabilize thereafter.
