West Indies A sets Nepal target of 228 runs



KATHMANDU: In Charles Johnson’s century, West Indies A has set Nepal a target of 228 runs in the third T20 match against the home team.

Having won the toss and elected to bat first at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, West Indies A lost 3 wickets in 20 overs and scored 227 runs.

Johnson Charles scored 119 runs off 61 balls, including 13 fours and 7 sixes, before being dismissed.

He completed his century in 55 balls. Opener Evin Lewis was out for 17 runs.

At that time, West Indies was at 27/1 in 3.1 overs. Afterward, Andre Fletcher and Johnson Charles contributed to a massive partnership of 145 runs, laying the foundation for a substantial total.

Andre Fletcher scored 53 runs off 33 balls, including 4 fours and 3 sixes, before getting out.
