UML Kathmandu to hold program focused on youth

KATHMANDU: The CPN UML Kathmandu district committee has decided to hold a program focused on the youth festival at Tundikhel, Kathmandu on February 3.

The festival is being held under the theme of ‘Youth Leadership for Social Change’.

The Kathmandu committee of the party informed that such a festival would be organized in other districts as well. Information on this was shared at a press meet organized here on Thursday.

UML’s politburo member Anand Pokhrel informed that the event was organized to make youths aware of the use and misuse of technology in the wake of globalization.

Similarly, another leader Dipak Niraula, said youths’ role could be bolstered to strengthen the federal democratic republic.
