KATHMANDU: Chairman of Nepal Samajwadi Party, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, emphasized the need for adopting a constructive approach to discuss the intricate challenges facing the nation.

Speaking at the 48th National Unity and Reconciliation Day organized by the Nepali Congress on Monday, Dr. Bhattarai encouraged learning from the wisdom of BP to engage in meaningful debates on contemporary issues.

In his address, Bhattarai stressed, “Let’s learn from BP to debate the complex situation of the country and contemporary issues. Avoid blaming each other and focus on delivering the fruits of good governance and prosperity to the people. Take this responsibility seriously.”

Acknowledging the significance of the Transitional Justice (TRC) Bill, Bhattarai emphasized it as a common concern for the country.

He urged swift action on the TRC bill, highlighting that collective resolution is imperative for maintaining public trust.

Bhattarai cautioned against mere symbolic gestures of democracy, asserting that resolving issues like the TRC bill is crucial for genuine democratic progress.
