UN Secretary-General to address Nepal’s Federal Parliament



KATHMANDU: United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is addressing a meeting of Nepal’s Federal Parliament this afternoon.

The Secretariat of the Federal Parliament organized and finalized all arrangements for the address.

Under the guidance of Speaker Devraj Ghimire, a joint meeting has been scheduled to convene.

Following Secretary-General Guterres’ speech, the same meeting will promptly pass a resolution extending gratitude to the Secretary-General.

Presiding over the meeting, Speaker Ghimire will steer the proceedings, ensuring a smooth and dignified interaction.

The address by the Secretary-General of the United Nations will mark the commencement of the meeting, as the esteemed diplomat shares his insights and perspectives.

With the commitment to upholding protocol and documentation, the Federal Parliament Secretariat will maintain a record of Secretary-General Guterres’ address, in line with its standard procedure for such events.
