Karnali Minister Singh vows drastic reduction of piecemeal scheme



SURKHET: The pre-budget discussion program on the budget for the fiscal year 2080/81 brought by the Karnali Province government was conducted today.

At a program organized by Hiti Foundation, an organization that has been studying, researching, discussing and advocating on economic and policy issues in Birendranagar of Karnali Province today, Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning of Karnali Province Bedraj Singh, members of Karnali Province Assembly Ransingh Periyar and Devendrabahur Shahi participated in the program.

Similarly, representatives of government employees, private sector and non-governmental organizations also participated in the program where they provided suggestions for the upcoming budget.

The participants suggested the establishment of a data center by the province government.

They also suggested the Karnali province government to reduce the fragmented schemes in the budget of the next fiscal year.

During the discussion, the President of FNCCI Surkhet, Laxman Kandel, suggested that the government bring a budget to create an environment for investment and entrepreneurship.

Speaking at the program, Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning Singh pledged to implement the suggestions from the discussion for the upcoming budget.

He expressed his commitment to reducing fragmented plans in the upcoming budget.
