Indian PM’s Security Advisor Doval and Foreign Secretary Kwatra meet PM Dahal in New Delhi



KATHMANDU: Indian Prime Minister’s Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra met Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, who is in New Delhi on a four-day visit to India, on Wednesday.

On the first day of his visit to India, Prime Minister Dahal stayed at the Maurya Hotel in New Delhi. After being welcomed at the airport, the Prime Minister reached the hotel.

Foreign Secretary Kwatra and Security Advisor Doval reached the hotel to meet Prime Minister Dahal.

Earlier, Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi welcomed Prime Minister Dahal at the Indira Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday afternoon.

This is Dahal’s first visit to India after becoming the Prime Minister for the third time.
Prime Minister Dahal is accompanied by five ministers including Foreign Minister NP Saud.

Dahal and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi are scheduled to hold bilateral talks on Thursday at Hyderabad House.
