Rabi Lamichhane holds talks with PM Dahal at Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: Former Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane reached Prime Minister’s official residence and held talks with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda on Tuesday morning.

According to Prime Minister’s Secretariat, a meeting between Lamichhane and PM Dahal took place a second time after Lamichhane regained Nepali citizenship on Sunday.

Prime Minister Dahal and Lamichhane discussed contemporary politics including by-elections and the appointment in the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Lamichhane’s party, Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has been insisting that it should get the Ministry of Home Affairs.

However, Prime Minister Dahal, according to sources, is not in favor of giving the Home Ministry to RSP.
