Dipendra Singh Airee out of T20 World Cup Qualifiers



KATHMANDU: Dipendra Singh Airee, an important member of the Nepali national cricket team, will miss the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiers in Kathmandu.

Airee, who was injured during practice before the match against Singapore on Monday, was injured in the left ball. He went to the hospital at that time and after the report that his injury was serious, he was going to miss all the remaining matches.

Airee was taken to Medicity Hospital for treatment immediately after his injuries.

He returned from the hospital bandaged and on crutches after the match against Singapore at the TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.

After he was injured, Vivek Yadav was included in the playing XI.

Nepal has made a good start in the ongoing tournament by defeating Singapore by 8 wickets today.
