KATHMANDU: Kailash Dhungel has been elected as the Chairman of the CPN-UML Bagmati Province Committee.
According to the final results of the counting of votes completed on Friday night, Dhungel was elected to the post of the Chairman by receiving 696 votes.
Dhungel of Ramechhap is also the former Finance Minister of the Bagmati Province government.
Dawa Dorje has been elected as the Vice Chairman by getting 615 votes.
Similarly, Navraj Silwal has been elected as the Secretary.
Silwal got 568 votes while his competitor Hasta Pandit got 567 votes.
