KATHMANDU: Prof. Dr. Subarna Lal Bajracharya has been appointed Vice-Chancellor of Lumbini Buddhist University based in Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ also Chancellor of the Lumbini Buddhist University, appointed Dr Bajracharya to the post at the recommendation of the recommendation committee.
The post had been lying vacant for the past six months. Dr. Bajracharya is a retired professor from the Tribhuvan University.
