PM Dahal urges public backing in epic fight against corruption; emphasizes collective efforts

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has vowed to open more corruption cases related files and sought public support in this battle against corruption.

Speaking at a program organized to announce the student organization of Samajbadi Morcha Nepal in Kathmandu, on Sunday, the Prime Minister said that the action against the corrupt will be taken further ahead.

He urged the people’s support in this campaign.

“More files are going to be opened in the coming days. The prime minister alone cannot fight the war,” PM Dahal said, adding, “We need public effort and joint effort to curb corruption.

He has also alleged that there is a conspiracy to create a rift between the ruling coalition and the Samajwadi Morcha. The Maoist Center Chairman promised to take the campaign against corruption to a lawful conclusion.

“It is a battle we must win. I envisioned a new era through a federal democratic republic,” PM Dahal added.
