Top leaders to announce Socialist Student Front today



KATHMANDU: The announcement of the Socialist Student Front is set to take place today (Sunday).

Purna Basnet, Chief of the Publicity Department of Janata Samajwadi Party, confirmed that the announcement will commence at 12:00 noon at the Himalayan College of Engineering in Lalitpur.

Top leaders including Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav, and CPN General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ are all scheduled to address the gathering during this occasion.

Previously, the collaboration between Maoist Centre, Unified Socialist, Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, and CPN had led to the formation of the Socialist Front.

The emergence of the Socialist Student Front is expected to further galvanize the movement and advocate for the principles they hold dear, Basnet said.
