Nepali nurse arrested in Australia on charges of assaulting elderly patient



KATHMANDU: A Nepali nurse has been arrested in Australia for allegedly abusing a patient.

According to 9News Sydney, Nepali nurse Asmita Pandey was arrested for beating and pushing a patient.

Pandey, who works at Estia Health, was reported to the hospital administration by a colleague saying that she had beaten an elderly patient. She was then arrested.

It is said that Pandey may be sentenced to prison for this crime.
