KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Mahaprasad Adhikari has met Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah in Kathmandu on Monday afternoon.
According to Mayor Shah’s personal secretary Bhupdev Shah, the Mayor and the NRB Governor met at Rastriya Sabha Griha, Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.
Shah informed that the Mayor Balen and Governor Adhikari talked about the issues of managing financial institutions in Kathmandu.
“The focus of the meeting was on the regulation, inspection and review of far-reaching policies and procedures of financial institutions including cooperatives under the local government,” the Mayor’s personal secretary said.
