UN Secretary-General Guterres calls on UML Chair Oli



KATHMANDU: Visiting United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres today paid a courtesy call on CPN-UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Oli.

The meeting was held at the New Baneshwor-based Federal Parliament building and it centered on discussions on Nepal’s peace process, and the climate change issues among others, according to UML leader Dr Rajan Bhattarai who accompanied the party Chair in the meeting.

The UN Secretary-General’s delegation to the four-day official trip to Nepal beginning today comprises UN Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations, Jean Pierre Lacroix, Resident Coordinator of the United Nations to Nepal Hanaa Singer-Hamdy, and other officials from the UN.
