Weather to remain generally clear today



KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a partial influence of western winds in the western part of Nepal.

Owing to this influence, the weather is likely to remain generally clear in the hilly regions of the country, encompassing Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.

This afternoon, the hilly areas of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, are expected to witness partial to normal rainfall.

Some areas in the country’s hilly areas may experience light rain accompanied by lightning.

Moreover, some high hills and Himalayan regions might also witness snowfall alongside light rain.

The night will predominantly be clear, with partly cloudy skies spanning the entire country, the Division said.
