19th Asian Games: Nepal remains without a medal so far

HANGZHOU: A total of 610 medals have been distributed to the players till Thursday in the ongoing Asia Games.

China has led the medal tally till Thursday. As announced, China has received altogether 169 medals including 91 gold, 52 silver and 26 bronze.

Likewise, South Korea is in the second position getting 86 medals including 24 gold, 23 silver and 39 bronze.

To secure its third position, Japan has 18 gold medals, 30 silver and 31 bronze. Uzbekistan is in the fourth rank with 6 gold medals, 10 silver and 15 bronze.

India has got 6 gold medals, eight silver and 11 bronze, securing its fifth position in the 19th Asian Games taking place in Hangzhou City of China.

Likewise, Thailand has six gold medals, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China has five gold medals and Chinese Taipei has won four gold medals.

Of the 45 participating countries, 33 countries have managed to bag the medals in the Asian Games.

However, Nepal has not obtained any medal so far. However, Nepal is expected to get medal in e-sports, badminton and men’s cricket tournaments.
