Police recover 1 kg gold from TIA, investigation underway

KATHMANDU: One kilogram of gold has been recovered from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Monday.

The airport police nabbed the smuggler along with the gold brought into Nepal.
The patrolling team of the police recovered the gold.

“While examining a person moving suspiciously after clearing the custom, the patrolling team recovered the gold,” the police said.

The airport police informed that the investigation is underway.
