KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has asserted that the current government will remain in power for its full five-year term.

Addressing the first national conference of the Judicial Committees on Wednesday, PM Dahal said, “I want to assure you (Kathmandu Mayor Balendra Shah) that this government will complete its full term.”

Earlier, Mayor Shah raised concerns about the challenges that the local bodies face while working due to frequent government changes.

Prime Minister Dahal said that the government is gradually coming back to the rhythm and will start working on the country’s development.

He also assured Mayor Shah that the government would cooperate with the local governments for development.
