KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) issued a fervent appeal for the safeguarding of all innocent citizens, notably including Bipin Joshi, who have gone missing in the recent attack by Hamas in Israel.

A press statement issued by MoFA has underscored the need to ensure the safety and well-being of Bipin Joshi and other individuals who are believed to have been abducted by Hamas militants following the attack on Israel.

Hailing from Bhimdatta Municipality-3 in Kanchanpur, Bipin has remained unaccounted for since the onset of the attack, leaving his current status shrouded in uncertainty.

The Nepali Embassy in Israel has confirmed that the search efforts for Joshi, now missing for 8 days, are ongoing, underscoring the urgency of locating him at the earliest possible juncture.

Joshi’s act of self-sacrifice, saving his friend’s life by intercepting a grenade, has only added to the urgency of finding him swiftly and ensuring his safe return.

In a positive turn of events, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed the recent release of two hostages in Gaza, considering it a promising development.

The diplomatic initiatives undertaken by the State of Qatar and other concerned parties have also garnered commendation from the Ministry for their collaborative efforts in facilitating the release of the missing Nepali nationals.
