Nepal’s communist leaders set to visit China

KATHMANDU: A team of communist party leaders, including from the CPN-UML is set to visit China.

The leaders of Nepal’s communist parties led by CPN-UML’s General Secretary Shankar Pokharel are visiting China on the invitation of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Chinese Communist Party.

While in China, the leaders are scheduled to attend programs and visit places, including Beijing.

Earlier, a large team led by Vice Chairman of Maoist Center and former Assembly Speaker Agni Sapkota and Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolis Renu Dahal traveled to different parts of China including Mansarovar.

Likewise, Maoist Center leader Dev Gurung also traveled to China.
