KATHMANDU: Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Minister Sudan Kirati has said that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ should give Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane the ministry of his choice.
On Friday, at the event organized by the Federation of Hoteliers and the Tourism Board, Minister Kirati said that Prime Minister Dahal should give the chosen ministry to lawmaker Lamichhane.
The RSP chair won as a member of the House of Representatives with a huge margin in the Chitwan-2 by-election.
Appreciating the popular vote given to RSP Chair Lamichhane by the people, he said that the Prime Minister should be ready to give the chosen ministry. He opined that doing so would be the appreciation of the public mandate.
Minister Kirati also said that there is no alternative to national consensus, saying that the country’s economy is problematic now.
