GHORAHI, DANG: The Nepali Army, Ex-Servicemen Convention has kicked off at the Ranasingh Dal Battalion in Dang from today.
The theme of the conference is – ‘Aspiration of Ex-Servicemen Association: Dedication and Trust towards Army.’
Chief of the Army Staff Prabhu Ram Sharma inaugurated the conference. One thousand three hundred and fifty retired army personnel from Rukum East and Rukum West, Rolpa, Salyan, Pyuthan and Dang districts are participating in the conference, the Nepali Army Public Relations Directorate Director and spokesperson Krishna Prasad Bhandari said.
The senior former army personnel, single women and successful entrepreneurs will be honored on the occasion.
Similarly, the incapacitated ex-servicemen will be provided with wheelchair and crutches.
