Three dead in Saptari road accident



SAPTARI: Three persons died and 12 others are injured in a road accident occurred at Kanchanrup Municipality in Saptari district on Tuesday morning.

Three persons died on the spot after two vehicles (Pra 2-02-001 Cha 0746 and Ba 18 Cha 6617) from opposite directions collided head on near Bishnumandir area of Kanchanrup along the East-West Highway.

The deceased are identified as Sanjaya Chaudhary, Raj Kumari Chaudhary and Hareram Sah of Duhabi Municipality-3 in Sunsari district.

The Bolero Pickup Van with registered number plate Pra 2-02-001 Cha 0746 was carrying horses in it.

Twelve persons are injured in the accident.

According to police, the injured ones are rushed to Biratnagar for treatment after their primary treatment at Dharmeshwor Hospital in Saptari.
