Let’s dissolve current govt and go for interim leadership to address national crisis: Prabhu Sah

KATHMANDU: Aam Janata Party (AJP) chairman and former minister Prabhu Sah has called for the dissolution of the current ruling coalition government.

During a party standing committee meeting held in Kathmandu on Monday, Sah proposed dissolving the existing government and establishing an interim administration to navigate the country through its ongoing crisis. He criticized the current government, labeling it as a facilitator for middlemen and brokers, emphasizing the need for a change.

Sah suggested exploring the possibility of transitioning to a presidential system as a means to resolve the prevailing political disorder. He raised concerns about the government’s involvement in fostering corruption and bribery, and failure to curb loan sharking. He issued warning of his party’s forthcoming protests against such practices.

“Corruption. bribery, loan sharking have reached unprecedented levels. It’s imperative that everyone pays attention to curbing these malpractices,” Sah remarked.

Sah criticized the ineffectiveness of the government in addressing crucial issues such as adulteration and the thriving black market, implying its incapacity to tackle these challenges.
