JALESHWAR: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is holding its Central Committee meeting in Jaleshwar, the headquarters of Mahottari district in Madhesh Province.

The meeting will feature presentations on organizational and political matters from key bodies, including the Central Disciplinary Commission, Central Accounts Commission, and provincial representatives.

Financial reports detailing the party’s economic standing will also be presented and scrutinized during the meeting, party leaders said.

According to RSP, the agenda also includes a comprehensive discussion on parliamentary activities, a review of past parliamentary work, deliberation on the convention’s methodology, and an overview of the party’s political roadmap.

The gathering will also address the formulation of party policies and the overarching strategy to be adopted.

Originally slated for November 8 and 9, the meeting was deferred due to the devastating earthquake in Jajarkot, leading to property loss.

RSP also conducted a two-day door-to-door program from November 18 to 20, coinciding with the one-year anniversary of the general election.

During this period, MPs and RSP candidates engaged in a house-to-house program, strengthening their connection with the electorate.
