PM Dahal and UML Chairman Oli hold talks

KATHMANDU: A meeting took place between Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli at Singha Durbar today afternoon.

CPN-UML Chairman Oli held a meeting with Prime Minister Dahal, also the Chairman of the Maoist Center, against the backdrop of uncertainties surrounding the government’s expansion in Koshi Province.

The appointment of rebel lawmaker MP Kedar Karki from the Nepali Congress as Chief Minister in Koshi Province, with the support of UML, has generated controversy.

While UML is advocating for the exclusion of parties other than the Nepali Congress from the Koshi government, Chief Minister Karki is advocating for the formation of an all-party government.

Amid this convoluted scenario, the meeting between the top leaders of UML and Maoist Center is perceived as crucial.
