UML’s tea reception postponed to November 1 in Light of UN Secretary-General’s visit

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML’s tea reception, originally scheduled for October 31, has been rescheduled to November 1.

The decision to this effect was made citing the upcoming visit of the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to Nepal.

The party has instructed the leaders on the necessary arrangements to be made for the event.

The tea reception program is set to commence at 12:30 in the afternoon at the party’s central office in Chyasal in Lalitpur.

The decision to postpone the event reflects the party’s commitment to accommodate the high-profile visit of the United Nations Secretary-General, emphasizing the significance of international relations and diplomacy in the current political landscape.

UN Secretary-General Guterres is scheduled to visit Nepal on October 29, marking a rescheduled trip that was earlier postponed.
