Nepal sees five new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 35



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of five new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Saturday.

All the confirmed cases were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 412 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

All 412 the samples were tested through RT-PCR method.

Currently, there are 35 active cases in the country as four infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
