Durbar Marga traders to pull down shutters for an hour today

KATHMANDU: Traders of Kathmandu’s Durbar Marga have decided to pull down their shutters for an hour against the Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s decision to prohibit parking in the area.

The traders have decided to close their shops in protest for one hour from 4:30 to 5:30 pm on Monday.

The businessmen in the Durbar Marga area have been protesting the KMC’s decision to not allow parking of two-wheelers as well as four-wheelers in the Durbar Marga area without giving an alternative for parking.

Traders having shutters in the Durbar Marga area complained that their businesses have gone down after the KMC removed parking from the area.
